It was TRODAT who in 1993 came up with the revolutionary idea of using laser technology for stamp plate production. One year later, TRODAT started to produce its own CO2 laser engravers in its daughter company, Trotec. As it does with all its products, TRODAT was determined to produce unrivalled quality. The TROTEC products quickly established themselves in the laser market, but did not limit itself to its domain, engraving. Today, TROTEC products are being used by a majority of stamp makers and engraving specialists. Yet the company also produces full range of lasers for industrial engraving and marking, as well as special excimer lasers for precise marking of glass, cutting of stents used in the field of cardio surgery.
